The Sales Executive is responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience for the Scalo Companies. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of account management, customer care and direct sales for all of the Scalo Companies products and services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Serve as the front-line contact for key customers and field their inquiries and requests for all of our suites of services

- Strive to hit the pre-determined annual sales quota

- Diligently communicate with customer contacts while assisting the operations staff to ensure the timely completion of work 

- Maintain client database with best practices in data management

- Support and provide training/troubleshooting for The Scalo Companies’ internal and external resources

- Be a proficient user and trainer of the Scalo Company’s proprietary enterprise system, MasterKey™

- Create and review roof inspections and proposals 

- Attend weekly sales meetings

- Submit all weekly reports and daily CRM activity

- Work closely with several layers of management and ownership at the Scalo Companies who will help you towards your success 

- Support the EVP of Sales & Operations, Marketing Director and Customer Service Department as needed

- Create an individual book of business through cold calling, networking, prospecting and use of company sales initiatives
 
- Attain and retain new commercial clients

- Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Here are the minimum qualifications and essential functions for this position:

- Highest commitment to quality customer service

- A minimum of three years proven sales and account support / customer service experience

- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred (business, accounting or communications, or related field); High school diploma/GED required

- Knowledge in Roofing or Construction

- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and the ability to learn customer service management

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of customers, vendors and employees

- Strong people orientation and positive attitude

- Must project a professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust

- Ability to work with a team and unsupervised

- Effective organizational and time-management skills. Able to plan and schedule work proactively rather than reactively

- Physically able to perform essential job functions including accessing a roof walking, sitting for extended periods of time, bending, light lifting, speaking, writing, comprehending and concentrating on detail-oriented work and computer-related work 

- Minimum of 2-3 years verifiable Customer Service or Account Support experience

- Self-motivated
