Primary Function:

Under the direction of the Warehouse Foreman, the Warehouse Laborer will be assist with loading and unloading of trucks, the handling of the materials and equipment, and the upkeep of the warehouse and yard. This position handles materials for roofing jobs and assists with deliveries so roofing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

• Following the safety guidelines of the company
• Tracking of inventory for restocking, loading, unloading, handling, movement of the materials and equipment in the warehouse.
• Make deliveries to various job sites and to pick up various items from vendor’s stores and warehouses. Driving materials to job sites in a company vehicle and working with Project Managers on material and resource needs
• Proper completion of all paperwork including the matching of purchase orders to delivery slips, work orders and Inventory Control Forms
• Maintaining vehicles moving in and out of the receiving yard
• Providing equipment to the field operations staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Reliability is a must! Be honest and dependable.
• Permissible background check including drug screen, valid Driver's license, and work-related references
• Ability to work at heights and use ladders
• Physically able to tolerate work outdoors at varying temperatures
• Possess customer care focus and have ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
• Willingness to learn and aid all operational personnel –with willingness/enthusiasm to handle other tasks as necessary
• Ability to perform regular lifting of 50+ pounds & bend over- load and unload cargo
• Ability to read and fill requisition orders
• Ability to operate company truck/van, forklift, crane, and other applicable equipment
• Ability to communicate clearly with warehouse and project staff- verbal and written writing skills
